            AITRs can now use specific functions in new service management tool

This past weekend, agencies, VITA and our suppliers accomplished an important milestone for the Commonwealth of Virginia with the successful move to a multisupplier information technology (IT) infrastructure environment. The new suppliers are now providing IT infrastructure services and will continue to introduce modernized services in 2019. As an AITR, you now are able to:

  • View the status of all tickets submitted by your agency employees
  • Place an order for VITA-provided IT goods and services (Note: Many items that were ordered through the eVA procurement system have been added to the catalog and should be ordered via a service request, not through eVA.)
  • Review and approve orders placed for your agency in the new VITA service catalog
  • View project plans of IT infrastructure projects managed by the multisourcing services integrator (MSI), such as operating system upgrades, and the infrastructure components of agency projects
  • See information for agency IT assets maintained by VITA, including data available in the configuration management database (CMDB)

The launch of the Keystone Edge tool brings the new VITA service portal and service catalog to all agency employees. Thirty-minute virtual training sessions continue to be available this week and are open for registration here.
